- Was a member of the panel at the Carers Summit organised by Carers UK
- Attended the Governments’ Grandparents Summit

The House was then in recess until Wednesday 16th November when the Queen opened the new session of Parliament and gave the Queen’s Speech.

- Attended and spoke at the Unite Print Sector Conference in Brighton
- Attended a briefing meeting on Orissa organised by the Religious Liberty Commission of the Evangelical Fellowship of India
